VikTV Platform (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform" or "we") is committed to providing you with high-quality short drama content and an outstanding viewing experience.
Prior to using the services of the Platform (hereinafter referred to as "the Services"), you must carefully read and fully understand this Service Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "the Agreement"). This Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you and the operator of the Platform and its affiliated companies. Meanwhile, you should also review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use and protect your personal information. Your download, installation, registration, access to or use of the Platform shall constitute your full reading, understanding and acceptance of all terms of this Agreement and the Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to modify any content of this Agreement at any time in light of changes in laws and regulations, adjustments to business operations, technological upgrades or the need for security protection.
The revised Agreement shall take effect immediately. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the revision shall indicate your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by the revised terms. If you disagree with any revised content, you must immediately cease using the Platform and uninstall the application.
2.1 Nature of Services
The Platform provides online streaming services for short drama content. You may browse and watch a variety of high-quality short drama videos authorized by us on the Platform.
2.2 Regional and Copyright Restrictions
The content provided on the Platform is protected by copyright laws and relevant international treaties. Some content may not be available in specific countries or regions due to copyright authorization restrictions or local regulatory requirements. We will impose necessary regional restrictions on content in accordance with the scope of authorization and compliance requirements.
2.3 License and Restrictions
The Platform only grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-commercial license. You undertake to strictly comply with the following norms when using the Services and refrain from any illegal or infringing acts:
Not to download, record, copy, store or disseminate the Platform's content through any channel;
Not to use any unofficial tools (including but not limited to plug-ins, scripts, crawler software, emulators, etc.) to access, crawl or interfere with the normal operation of the Platform;
Not to tamper with data, cheat in activities, register maliciously, file malicious complaints or commit any form of fraudulent acts;
Not to use any technical means to disrupt the advertising delivery link, including but not limited to intercepting advertising requests, interfering with advertising display or reverse-engineering (cracking) the advertising SDK;
Not to engage in any acts that violate applicable laws and regulations or damage the legitimate rights and interests of us and third parties.
3.1 Minimum Age Requirement
Prior to using the Services, you must have reached the minimum age standard stipulated by the laws of the jurisdiction where you are located.
Generally, you must be at least 13 years of age;
If you are located in the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), you must be at least 16 years of age (or have reached the age for using digital services as stipulated by local laws) in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3.2 Minor Guardianship
If you are a minor who has not reached the legal age, your use of the Services must be conducted with the explicit consent, supervision and guidance of your legal guardian (hereinafter referred to as the "Guardian"). The Guardian shall bear full legal liability for all acts of the minor on the Platform and their consequences.
3.3 Eligibility Review
We reserve the right to review user eligibility at any time, and may refuse, suspend or terminate the access rights of users who fail to meet the age requirements, are suspected of fraud or provide false identity information.
4.1 Registration and Login
You may log in to the Platform via authorization of third-party accounts (including but not limited to Google, Apple or Facebook accounts). You understand and agree that logging in through a third-party account shall mean that you authorize us to obtain public information under such account (such as nickname, avatar, etc.) for the completion of the registration process.
4.2 Account Security and Custody
You shall be solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account. Please keep your login credentials in a safe place and bear legal liability for all activities and operations conducted through your account. We shall not be liable for any account theft, information leakage or losses suffered due to your own reasons (such as password disclosure, device loss, etc.).
4.3 Handling of Account Violations
If we have reasonable grounds to suspect that your account is involved in abnormal login, fraud, abuse, cheating or any acts in violation of the provisions of this Agreement, we reserve the right to take measures including but not limited to suspending account functions, restricting usage rights or permanently banning the account without prior notice.
4.4 Account Cancellation
You have the right to apply for account cancellation on the Settings page in the application at any time. Once a cancellation application is submitted, your account and related data (including but not limited to viewing history, collected content, personal information, task records and relevant values, etc.) will be permanently deleted. Please note that the cancellation operation is irreversible and data cannot be recovered after deletion.
5.1 Advertising Services and Liability
VikTV only provides a display platform for third-party advertisements. We make no express or implied warranties regarding the authenticity, legality, accuracy or reliability of advertising content. Any transactions, disputes or claims arising between you and advertisers from advertising promotion shall be settled by you and the advertisers on your own, and we shall not bear any joint and several liability.
5.2 Data Collection and Privacy
We have fulfilled the obligation to inform about third-party advertising and data collection in accordance with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations. Some advertising service providers may collect non-personally identifiable information such as your device identifiers and usage habits through Cookies or SDK to provide personalized advertising recommendations. For specific rules on data collection, please carefully review the privacy policies of each advertising service provider.
6.1 Ownership of Rights
The Platform and all its content (including but not limited to short drama video files, subtitles, pictures, interface designs, trademarks, software codes, databases, etc.) are protected by copyright laws, trademark laws, patent laws and other relevant intellectual property laws and regulations. Without the express permission of law or our written authorization, no entity or individual may use, modify or exploit the above-mentioned intellectual property rights in any way.
6.2 Strictly Prohibited Infringing Acts
You only have the limited right to watch content within the scope of this Agreement, and are strictly prohibited from committing the following acts of infringing intellectual property rights:
Recording, screenshotting, editing, splicing short drama videos, or extracting and disseminating the audio or images of short drama videos separately;
Copying or reprinting the text introductions, posters and other materials on the Platform to third-party platforms or using them for commercial purposes without authorization;
Reverse-engineering, decompiling, disassembling the application of the Platform or attempting to crack the source code;
Removing, obscuring or tampering with watermarks, copyright marks or Digital Rights Management (DRM) information in short drama videos;
Imitating the UI design, brand logo or functional logic of the Platform to develop similar applications that cause user confusion;
Misappropriating the trade secrets of the Platform (such as obtaining content databases and undisclosed operation data through crawlers).
6.3 Handling of Infringements
Upon discovering any of the above-mentioned infringing acts by users, we reserve the right to take immediate measures (including but not limited to account banning, content blocking, data deletion) and retain the right to pursue their legal liability and claim compensation.
7.1 As-Is Service
We will make every effort to ensure the stability of the Services, but explicitly disclaim all express or implied warranties. We do not warrant that the Services will be completely uninterrupted, error-free or absolutely secure, nor do we warrant that the content will fully meet your specific expectations.
7.2 Force Majeure and Technical Malfunctions
We will make every effort to restore the Services as soon as possible in the event of service suspension, interruption or inaccessibility of content due to server maintenance, network congestion, technical malfunctions, third-party service interruptions, changes in laws and regulations or other reasons beyond our reasonable control, but shall not bear any direct or indirect liability arising therefrom.
7.3 Liability for Devices and Networks
You shall be solely responsible for maintaining the security of the devices you use and the stability of the network environment. We shall not be liable for any losses caused by device malfunctions, network attacks or other reasons not attributable to the Platform.
We attach great importance to your privacy. The Platform will collect and process the data necessary for providing the Services, including device information, IP address (for regional authorization management), playback records, third-party account association information, etc.
8.1 Third-Party Data Processing
For information collected and used by third-party advertising service providers, we will fulfill our supervision and management obligations and urge them to strictly comply with relevant laws and regulations and privacy protection standards. However, due to the independent operation of third parties, we shall not bear direct liability for their data processing acts. Please carefully review the Privacy Policy of ShortBox and the privacy policies of third-party advertisers to fully understand the specific rules of information processing.
8.2 Right to Control Personal Information
You have the right to view, modify or delete your personal information, and the relevant operations can be completed in the application settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the provision of Services to specific users or all users at any time for reasonable reasons (including but not limited to violation of this Agreement, security risks, legal compliance requirements).
Termination of the Services shall not exempt users from any liability arising from violations of the Agreement during the use period (including but not limited to tort compensation liability).
10.1 Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the user is located (excluding conflict of law rules). If local laws have mandatory provisions on certain terms, such mandatory provisions shall prevail.
10.2 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved by the parties through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party shall have the right to file a lawsuit with the people's court having jurisdiction at the place where the operator of the Platform is located.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Platform regarding the use of the Services. If any term of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable by a court having jurisdiction, such term shall be deemed to have been deleted from this Agreement without affecting the validity of the remaining terms.
